Upholstered Seating

We first came across the French manufacturer Duviver about 20 years ago when we discovered their beautifully small-scaled club chair called Mermoz. Visiting their atelier in France shortly after, we quickly came to understand that this company, founded in 1840 as a saddle-maker, is at the pinnacle of bench-made leather seating in all of Europe. Their selection of fabrics has left us no less impressed. As members of the prestigious organization, Entreprise Patrimoine Vivant (Living French Enterprise), they adhere strictly to the highest of artisanal standards of craftsmanship. All of the manufacturing is mandated to be entirely done in France. Even all of the leathers and fabrics are supplied by French tanneries and mills respectively.

Duvivier shows the same passion for excellence in design, materials and craftsmanship as the French are renowned for in the fields of fashion and gastronomy.
